Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic procurement plans to optimize supplier relationships and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Work as a team player in a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors, ensuring a diverse and reliable supply chain.
  • Drive operational efficiency within the procurement process, implementing best practices to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet procurement timelines and objectives.
  • Develop and enforce robust risk management and compliance protocols within the procurement function.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain adherence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer with a minimum of 5 years in procurement roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience in leading and motivating a procurement team.
  • Expertise in strategic procurement planning and execution.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement risk management and compliance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
